From here I saw a lot of things that are not visible from the ground. The Democratic Republic of Congo was beautifully laid out below. I could see past the Goma Airport. In 1954 at the Haneda international airport in Tokyo, Japan, one of the customs inspectors, questioned a man in a business suit. He examined the man's passport, which was already stamped with several visits to Tokyo. But his nationality was a problem, because the passport was issued, by the country of Taured. The inspector thought it may be a joke, because there is no such nation. Not on this Earth. The businessman was not laughing. He got angry, and his face turned red. He said, "You don't know Taured?" The inspector was young, and briefly considered that he may be wrong. He knew he had to pass this problem up the chain of command. But he did not expect the businessman's reaction, when t...

A time traveler movie about Andrew Basiago, the DARPA insider disclosing the secret temporal experiments of Project Pegasus. The best candidates for time travel are children, because of their adaptability to the stress of "moving between past present and future". Andrew Basiago speaks of this because he was one of the one hundred and forty children recruited for DARPA's Project Pegasus, a secret US program for the exploration of time. Today he is a lawyer in Washington State but in 1972 at the age of nine, young Andrew Basiago entered a lucite chamber to be transported by vortal tunnel into the past. His mission was to observe President Lincoln delivering the famous Gettysburg address. He was given to wear the military uniform of a Union bugle boy complete with contemporary cap. ...

We board a flight from Amsterdam and in 9 hours we are in the Caribbean. After a layover of just a couple of hours on Curacao, we fly on to Jamaica. We land in Kingston around 11 am local time. The air is hot, but not too humid. We have a 3 hours layover, so we decide to get out of the airport and go have lunch in Port Royal, half an hour away on the coast. It's a bit of a ghost-town, once a very rich merchant harbor, destroyed at the end of the seventeenth century by a powerful earthquake. It looks like it never really recovered… We eat lunch in a small fish-restaurant, famous for its snapper. But I eat jerk chicken because I am picky with my fish, and the jerk-spices here are amazing! Of course we drink some Red Stripe beers, and Simon and myself decide it's time to find some weed. It does not take long before we hit the jackpot: literally on the side of the local Police station, along the seaside, there are some barracks and shacks; inside a group of Rastas is busy cleaning and chopping weed and rolling it up in small balls, using rolling papers as containers. We ask if we can buy some, and the guys are thrilled. It's cheap, less than 1 Euro per gram. But it's a bit bitter, very leafy, and we enjoy it just because it's been a while since we smoked in Amsterdam! Some of the Rastas in the back are smoking crack cocaine in a glass pipe, the smell is terribly sour. They ask if we like some, and we politely tell them we are just here for the ganja; they nod, and scream "Jah Rastafari"! We sit and smoke a joint with them, and chat a bit about the local weed, and the cops. It's incredible that this is all happening next to the Police station. We leave as soon as the joint is over, and we go back to the restaurant to join the rest of the crew. It's time to get back to the airport and catch a Jamaican Airlines flight to Montego Bay, where our local contacts are waiting. The flight is really short, under half hour, and we arrive in MoBay before sunset. Bigga, Shanti, Nampo and Taleban are waiting for us and it's great to see them again; Arjan and myself spent some crazy days with these guys not long ago, during our scouting trips on the island. These guys are a tight crew, and they are going to take care of us during the next days of this filming trip. Nampo is a older Rasta, wise man, with lots of contacts and very respected. Taleban, his friend, is a grower and a smuggler, a real pirate and one of the funniest guys we ever had with us during our expeditions. Bigga is our driver/bodyguard, he's a man of the road and he knows who and what you need to know to keep us safe. Shanti is a local singer, a reggae artist with an amazing talent and a great personality. I know him since he was 10 years old, back in 1994, when I spent a few weeks near where he lived with his father (the man supplying me with fine herb at the time). It was really special to find Shanti during our scouting trips back in July, he's now a grown up man… and I am getting old! Shanti will come along and make sure the soundtrack of our travels is inspiring and inspired. We get the cars, two Toyota Fortuner, and we load up the mountain of gear we are carrying. Then we drive down to Negril in the sunset light, and when we arrive it's already dark. We decide to spend the first night at the Blue Cave Castle, a really cozy place on the rocky cliffs of Negril. It's another true 1994-flashback for me, this is one of the places where I stayed when I was a 20-years-old ganja-traveler, already a Strain Hunter without knowing it…. Of course to make the flashback even more intense the same room where I slept then is available, so I take it. It still looks the same. We are tired from the long travel, and we decide to go for some food. Unfortunately the chef is sick, so we decide to find something not too far away. We hit a jerk-chicken stand by the side of the road and we eat like there's no tomorrow. After a few Red Stripes and a few joints we go back to the hotel, where we smoke some good amount of high-grade weed, and some "gum", the local finger-hash. The weed is definitely an indica-cross, it tastes sweet and strong, and they say it's from a site not too far from where we are. We make a plan for tomorrow, and we go to sleep. Jamaica is great. It's a true privilege to be here again. Jah Bless! And now we are back with MisterX pics, the man is a true artist..... enjoy! New details about the man who should not exist, but presents a passport from another Earth. But he did not expect the businessman's reaction, when told he would have to wait for a supervisor. The man clutched his chest, and collapsed on the freshly waxed floor of the customs station. This was the 1950's. But treatment could not be delayed. The man from Taured was carried immediately to the Haneda Airport emergency medical station. That is where he was soon treated, with the best heart attack drug of that era. Nitro glycerin. When he recovered, he revealed to the medical personnel, that this was not the first time he had suffered such an attack. But it was the first time he had been successfully treated for it. He had never heard of "nitro". Then he was deemed healthy enough, for some light interrogation. At the Tokyo airport there was a small, secure room where an experienced customs officer conducted the questioning. "Taured must be a new country", suggested the officer. The businessman said, "My country has been here for 1000 years." Then the officer asked him to find his homeland on a map. He pointed to an area between the countries of France and Spain, but on closer examination of the atlas, he became agitated, flipping back and forth between the index, and the map. There was no Taured. The authorities were hard pressed to cite any law broken by this man. His driver's license was also issued by the government of Taured. The man's name was not associated with that of any known criminal. But they could not let the man leave the airport without kicking the problem upstairs, yet again. And it was getting late. The police allowed him to check in to his hotel. The hotel said they lost his reservation, but this happens to businessmen all the time. He paid with Japanese yen, out of his wallet. The money was real. The concierge handed him a key to a room on the tenth floor. Outside his door, were posted two policemen. The next morning, when the police knocked on his door, there was no response. When the hotel manager came to unlock the door, they found the room empty. He could not have left out the window, as the windows did not even open. The bed had not been slept in, and there was barely a trace of occupancy, except for one bar of soap that had been used in the bathroom. A search was launched by the Tokyo police. The man was never seen again. But at the emergency medical station of Haneda Airport, a number of capsules had gone missing from the dispensary. Nitro glycerin capsules. After entering the lucite chamber he transitioned through a series of chaotic arching tunnels. The trip was so turbulent that he lost his army headgear en route. He stepped out onto a dirt road in Gettysburg, the fresh smell of ozone still in his nostrils. It was November 19th and the Pennsylvania air was figid. He looked down. He was wearing only one sock and he had also lost both of his shoes. He was trained not to attract attention. If he caused any disturbance in the space-time continuum the Pegasus Project would not be able to extract him from the past. He stripped off his remaining sock and tossed it into the bushes. Walking past him was an emaciated union private in full uniform. Basiago called out to him, "Friend, which way Gettysburg?" The serviceman pointed down the road, which Andrew traveled for a half hour, walking past fields and farmhouses. He was cold and shivering. On reaching town he stepped up onto the wooden sidewalk. This was the only place he saw high buildings. A man of old age walking with a pronounced limp, saw Andrew and shouted at him, "You will get sick!" The man grabbed him by the arm and dragged him through the door of rustic-looking storefront. He purchased for the boy some inexpensive second-hand clothing... a navy blue winter parka of the Union Army, a cap, and a pair of used shoes at least five sizes too big. Next Andrew made his way to the center of town, where Lincoln was scheduled to deliver his address. He could barely walk in the oversized men's shoes. There was nobody on the dais, which was a flat wooden platform constructed in front of the local cemetery. Red and blue patriotic bunting had been strung along its edges. Andrew had arrived in 1863 a little earlier than was planned. He went to the very front of the platform and waited for the president to arrive. There he saw a man who looked like his father, dressed as a farmer. He said, "Dad why are you here?" The man replied, "I am not your father, that I know of." After patting him on the head, the farmer disappeared into the crowd. Then Andrew's ill-fitting attire captured the attention of two officers of the Union army. The junior officer questioned him, "What's your regiment boy, and where is your camp?" When the officers burst out laughing, Basiago moved away, to the outer perimeter of the audience, which was now approaching a total number of about one thousand. At this point, accidentally, he became part of a picture taken at the event by Civil War photographer Matthew Brady. Andrew can be seen standing awkwardly in oversized shoes, striving to look inconspicuous. He then turned around, when behind him arose an enthusiastic cheer, which gave him chills. He saw President Lincoln dismounting a horse. His eyes followed the bobbing head of the president, who was six foot-four in height, as he made his way through the crowd. Suddenly Basiago felt a tingling in his extremities and realized he was about to transition, in an early return to his own time, just as Lincoln was climbing the steps of the dais. Way back in 2016 there were a number of unusual candidates running for president. One of these was the self-confessed time traveler Andrew Basiago. He ran on the platform that the minimum wage be raised to $15 an hour, that Social Security be protected from tampering, and that the government be prohibited from spying on U.S. citizens.
